ABIDE WOMEN’S CONFERENCE
a conference that feels like a retreat
JANUARY 30 – FEBRUARY 1, 2025

GATHER / CONNECT / REST / RENEW
• MISSION & VISION •
The Abide Catholic Women’s Conference is an opportunity for Catholic women of Acadiana and beyond to gather, connect, rest, and renew within their identity as daughters of God. The vision of Abide is for all Catholic women to know the joy of friendship, the support of a faithful community, and the power of evangelization so they can live in the confidence of His love and share it with others.
• WHO IS INVITED •
All women, ages 19 and over (Daughters, Moms, Grandparents, Singles, Religious)
* Non-mobile, nursing infants only

• HISTORY OF ABIDE •
In February of 2019, 600 women gathered together for our first-ever Abide Women’s Conference in Acadiana. This conference was born out of the desire for all women in Acadiana, no matter their age or season in life, to come together under one roof to experience true, Catholic community. Three years later, in February of 2022, following the worldwide Covid pandemic we once again gathered with 400 women to learn, pray, listen, worship, laugh, and so much more! We like to say that the Abide Women’s Conference is a conference that feels like a retreat.
THE ABIDE IMPACT
“The team behind the Abide Conference created such a beautiful, warm, and spiritual space for the retreatants. In my experience, I have not seen such intentioned care for the retreat environment, prayer experiences, spiritual care, and fellowship times at a conference. It was a transformative weekend facilitated by a team of humble, faith-filled women. I myself was greatly blessed by being part of it.”
— Fr. Justin Brady, Pastor of St. Paul's Parish Nampa, Idaho
“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”

“Abide in me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” – John 15:4-5
